We searched the racks of the men and women’s jewelry sections... and found it lacking. Men’s and women’s- is that all there is? Where is the jewelry for people who don’t fit into a tight stereotypical box? The fashionable men, the powerful women, the non-conforming, the undefined, the trendsetter... Clothing is starting to break gender barriers so why is jewelry still stuck in the tired troupe of heavy boxy designs for men and dainty sparkles or cheap costume pieces for women?
